Re: BX2200 HST pedal sticking (it\'s not the pivot)

I tried cleaning and lubing. It helped but it is back to sticking now. I think we are dealing with a design problem here.
When I hear back from the dealer I will let everyone know what Kubota said about the issue. It could be a safety issue.

I only last week noticed that the problem is back (but not as bad). BreakFree seemed to fix it the first time, I'll try it again and see. BreakFree CLP
Re: BX2200 HST pedal sticking (it\'s not the pivot)
I sent a letter to Kubota regarding the sticking HST. Yesterday the dealer said that Kubota hasn't called them back to discuss the problem. I am not the only one at this dealership that is waiting for a fix.
In my letter to Kubota I suggested that they notify all BX owners of this potential safety hazard. I consider my incident to be a close call that could have resulted in a bad accident. It is something that all BX owners need to be cognizant of until a fix is available.
Re: BX2200 HST pedal sticking (it\'s not the pivot)
I heard back from the Service Manager at my Kubota dealer regarding the sticking HST pedal. She said that she talked with Kubota and they said that the problem should be resolved by adjusting the linkage (the dealer doubts that). If linkage adjustment doesn't fix it then they will need to open the transmission and look for wear (I doubt that, there is only 40 hrs on the machine). If they do not find anything wrong with the trany then a Kubota Rep will come out.
I think Kubota is denying that there is a chronic problem with sticking HST pedals on the BX.
They are going to pickup my tractor on the 23rd. I will let you know what they find.
