BX2200 compared to the BX2660

Yes, the trails are tight so far, and wll probably get wider as I have the energy. Often with my medical issues I'm limited to what I can do from the seat of the tractor pretty much. Hopefully that will improve a bit too. The pictures were to point out that the B2XXX series is not much larger, and almost as nimble as a BX......... but not quite. I still think that the BX is probably a better mower though I haven't mowed with either.

You are not helping me I kind of know that the B series is just a little larger. I keep having to tell myself that the trails are too tight just like my budget.

I have to take my deck of when doing anything serious in my woods, but there is simply no way I can do the things in the woods with my BX you can with your B, not enough loader strength or ground clearance.

Oh, I go in the woods with my deck on all the time and do work with it, but if I am going to be doing a really serious job I will take the deck off. For REALLY SERIOUS work, I fire something else up.

I put my deck on only when mowing. On and off have proven to be more painless each time it's done. 5 minutes tops. another 3-4 minutes to reinstall the brotek forward plate. The rest of the time I'm in the woods or the back of the property doing other than finish mower work. So my deck would be on maybe only 5% of the time.

Summary: I wished that I had kept my original tractor! I knew the use and maintenance history.It did everything that I needed and still do now. I was just chasing after something that looked newer, possibly smoother with a couple of newer features that ending up not really making much of a difference. Should of saved allot of money and just went to the dealer and bought a couple of hats with my next round of maintenance supplies instead.
That would have been a great thing to have done.

I did what you are thinking about doing.
If I had it to do over I'd keep the BX2200 and the cash.
