BX2200 Air filter replacement needed

My BX2200 turned 101hrs. I would like to replace the air filter!
The Nelson air filter number does not cross over to other filter brands at the Parts stores. Does anyone have a part no./Brand name they used, so I can get a new filter. I will try the dealer this weekend. Hope I don't need to take out a small business loan! I am still recovering from the bath($) I took when buying Super UDT fluid for my 50hr service.

Kubota part number is K1211-82320. I don't know that it has been cross-referenced yet with the other manufacturers. Price should be around the $9 range.

I talked about this with my dealer. Curious, he said to hold off replacing it until @500 hrs and in the meantime, blow it out with an air compresser every 50 hours. He said it actually gets more efficient after it's a little dirty...

IMHO, I'd be careful about using a compressor on a air filter, minute particles of filter medium can be ejected as well as dirt, I'd use low pressure unless some Kubota mechanics said otherwise. Some filters can be washed also, I don't know about the Kubota ones. Normally you'd think why bother when the filter is $9, but you can dirty a filter mighty quick playing in the dirt!

Steve Carver posted a good message about air filters. I don't remember the particular thread. But if you perform a search for Steve Carver, I'm sure you'll find it. He's a Kubota dealer in NC.

I used 30/40 psi during the year when cleaning(2 times).
I knew I was ready for a replacement(did not want to take any chances). Bought a new filter at Kubota $9.40(not to bad $). Could not find a filter any other place.
