Okay, I know you can't buy a BX22 without one. It seems to me that Kubota will be missing out on some potential BX22 buyers (like me) that would like to be able to add a backhoe in the future, but don't need one from the start. Kubota could even price the backhoe so it would cost more to add it later, by pricing a "no backhoe" BX22 significantly higher than a BX2200. I think a lot of people would gladly pay more for future capability and better resale value. This strategy may cut into BX2200 sales initially, but in the long run I think this is a win-win strategy for Kubota and their customers. Won't dealers make even more profit on future "brand name" attachment sales than on the original tractor? The only negative I see is that third party BH manufacturers may try to capture some of that business, but Kubota could just say "third party BH on BX22 = no warranty, no dealer service", and I still think people will buy the BX22. Any thoughts?
