BX22....B7500.....B7800

Trying to decide on the right tractor is killing me!! I had a 2001 B7500 when I lived in the country 2 years ago, so I am very familiar with that machine. But the price on a BX22, is so tempting that I can't figure out which one to buy!! I will mostly be doing finish mowing about 1.5-2 acres, and mowing around a pond. I never had a MM mower on my B7500, so I don't know what that is like. My property is 7 acres, and is already "finished", meaning, finished lawn, and mature landscaping. I will need to dig the edges of the pond a little, thats where I think the backhoe will work great.

If i use a rear 3 point finish mower on the B7500, can you back up under things??

How often do you find yourself using the back hoe on the BX22?

Yes, to me that's just one of the advantages of the 3-point mower.

I have the BX22 and am partial to it. The backhoe is very handy. I have used it to dig up old trees and plant new ones. I will be digging a pond after I get a couple retaining walls built. Hard stuff first then the funner stuff... I don't have a lawn so cannot comment on the BX22 with MMM. I think they are considered the machine to beat. I think you would like any of the three. Have fun deciding.. Gary

if u are going to use the bh extensively, then u might want a 7800, a little more mass and a little more hp. my preference for mower is rfm, quicker to remove and install, not quite as nice of a cut, but not bad! one of the ++++"s for me is being able to back under things and cut. this is all MHO.
