bx1800 won"t cut off

hey guys, love these forums. they are so full of info, it's amazing. i was having trouble starting my bx, and almost bought a new starter. But found a sugestion by "KUBMECH"(buying/installing a $30.00 J.D. relay switch), and it starts better than new. saved me LOTS of $$$.
i've been having a problem for several months, it doesn't want to shut off when i turn the key. someone showed me how to shut it down by pushing on something on the engine. as u can see, i don't know much about the mechanics. thats why i was so pumped about f
fixing my stating problem.
