BX1500

I was able to see the new BX1500 today while at my dealer. It was very strange to see that it is a 2 cylinder diesel that has a huge counter weight on top of the motor that covers about 1/2 of the motor. The saleman said that it was a weight on top of the motor to help compensate for the vibration of the 2 cylinder diesel.

I did not see the engine run, however, I wish i did. It looked like a great tractor accept for this.

I did hear one run the other day. sounds like it runs rougher than the 2200. didn't notice the counter wieght. for me I need all the horse power I have. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I did drive one a couple of weeks ago while i was looking for a tractor, i settled on the bx2200....i was skeptical because the two cyl diesel is brand new....bound to have some bugs, but....the price is right for sure...and...well... it IS A KUBOTA! kevin

What is the List price and expected reasonable selling price of the BX1500. Wondering if the savings are sufficient to consider stepping down from the 3cylinder BX2200 for those that do not need more horsepower.
