I just got a kubota bx1500 from a buddy of mine. I am for the most part dumb when it comes to working on tractors I was told that the hydraulic fluid should be changed and he didnt know how to do that. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the drain plug is and how much fluid it takes to fill it up.

Thanks :p

Drainplug is under the rear axle housing, regular hex bolt. Capacity is 2.75 US Gal. Mine seems to take just a little more, so get an extra quart.

Suggest getting a copy of the operator's manual from your local dealer - it will describe the required maint schedule & how to do it.
