No, I think Mr. Brown would like to know how much was paid a year and a half ago so he can then post 4 messages in response saying how much LESS he paid for his TWO 1500's a couple weeks ago.

Awakening old threads isn't that big of a deal in context. But cracking this one wide open with the tenacity of a current or hotly debated subject is a little...um...interesting.

A single post stating "hey, I was wondering if you could share some info with us" would have been quite appropriate.

Or better, a PM. Spare everyone the time. If there is a relevent update, then post it.

Or do it this way. It is actually a little fun to see these things transpire. That's why I haven't added LBrown59 to my "ignore" list.

That's not a problem...replied to himself 4 times back in Feb 2006 and 5 times yesterday. In this thread alone! Do that and you'll meet your quota before the coffee kicks in...

Not to sound elitist, but Bolens (by MTD) just ain't the type of machine that I could picture beside my Kubota (or 3 Kubotas). Unless I was picking it up in my FEL, of course.

Of course, I'm still trying to figure the whole thing out. I'm out there, doing a project and BAM...I need to till. Then BAM...I need to blade and load...then BAM, I need to till again...then mow, then chip, then till, then load, then blow snow, then blade, then till. I've done about $15,000 worth of improvements to my property (saving myself some $8,000 in labor costs alone) and haven't had a need to 'hot swap' much of my equipment, save removing my boxblade to install my BH once to put in a sump drain trench...15 minutes total...just don't see investing thousands and thousands of extra dollars.

Anyway, this is the way of things. No signs of Mr. Brown, then the thread will be revived in 7 days by him asking the very same question he originally asked 4 times. Or yelling at us for questioning anything he has ever written.
