BX1500 Leftovers, what is everyone paying?

Since the BX1500 is being phased out I was considering tracking one down. I'm curious to see what everyone has been paying and what discounts/incentives Kubota has authorized so dealers can move their existing stock. So all you folks out there, what deal did you get? I've found one and I'm less than impressed with the quote I got.

I'm close by in Waterford and have had no luck with our local dealers (orange or green). My best quotes for a BX series came from the dealer in Frederick and from Neil at Messick's. Both were real helpful providing reasonable quotes without haggling and I'll buy from one or the other when I'm ready.

AB4D - Thanks for the leads. I'll give them a call. The two dealers I've tried thus have pricing that is in line with what people were paying for them last year.

gavski - I know what you mean. The local green dealer, IME, tends to be a bit condescending to SCUT/L&G buyers, and the nearby orange guys figure must get enough traffic from folks too lazy or too indifferent to do research and get a better price.

I know its a little farther for you, but you may want to check Antietam Tractor in Hagerstown. Ask for Justin. I called him on the phone and he quoted me his best price up front. I've been very happy with the service from them as well when getting parts.

Not sure on that model. A salesman told me yesterday that Kubota was giving a $200-$300 incentive on last year's units that are being replaced by a new series. That's good and fine, but the salesman also told me that they can hardly find any of last year's units to sell...people are snatching them up.

The local guys do think they are doing you a favor selling you a tractor. You might also keep an eye on presmoe dot com. Seems like he had an BX1500 or 1800 with a loader recently on his site and ebay store.

Although your looking for a 1500, I recently bought a left over bx2250 and it had a $500 rebate from Kubota. For price comparison, I got the 54" deck and 2775 snowblower for $11,700 plus local tax. Good luck

Call Roork's in So. NJ, right outside of Philly. He had a couple last time I was there. That would be a good comparison for you.
