BX upsize

Hello Kubota experts. I see that there is a BX 2230 for sale very close to me. I have the BX1500, and have been thinking of moving up for more horsepower, mainly to power pto attachments, and to cut grass faster. I have no real complaints about the 1500 other than it won't power a 7500 watt pto generator or cut high grass quick enough uphill,and I have a hilly, grassy property. What is a fair price for the 2230 with 140 hours, no loader, 60" deck? Also, what could I expect to get for the 1500, with the loader already on it and the 54" deck? I paid 8k for the 1500 used. It has 140 hours on it too, I think it's about 3 and 1/2 years old. How much would it cost to get the loader installed on the 2230?

Try looking on tractorhouse.com to get an idea of what they are selling for. I would think that Ifyour 1500 is in good shape, you should be able to get at lease $8500 or more for it. The loader for my 1500 ran me around $2200 uninstalled. I did the install myself and I didn't know a thing about hydraulics. Would do the same again. Learned a lot about the tractor that way and it saved me a few hundred bucks.
