Bx to B series

anyone know if a bx 60 in deck or front blower will fit on a b model. reason for asking is I'm thinking of getting a larger machine. Reasons for possible change is fel with more lift and more ground clearance.

Don't know for sure about the blower, but you'll need a new deck to go along with the B...the BX deck is just for the BX tractor...they're quite a bit different in the mounts.

I would guess that the blower mounts will be different as well, unless you're handy with a welder and have some spare time on your hands. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think a front mount snow blower from a BX will fit on a new B model (without making new brackets). Maybe they would fit a late 90's B model.

What B model are you looking at? It makes a difference. The new B models have completely different brackets and such. The slightly older B models B2100, B7300, B2400 share a common frame; so things are more interchangible amongst those three. The newer B models have a new bracket system that won't fit on the older B's (I tried that approach). The BXs have a smaller frame and might require shorter mid-mount PTO shafts.
