I've noticed that my loader bucket roll forward/back has about 2 or so inches of play at the front edge. It's easily moved by hand, and it bounces as I go over bumps with a load. Only got about 12 hours on the whole thing.

Everything looks square, fluids OK. Have disconnected and reconnected the thing 3 or 4 times with no problems. Is there the possibility of air in the hydro lines?

Hopefully you'll tell me it's nothing, but if not, any guesses?

Thanks. This is a great site,
Bill

Sounds like air in the cylinders, or the lines. If it doesn't go away when you cycle it back and forth, maybe you're sucking some air in one of the connections. Happened to my B6100D FEL, found out the valve's were sucking in some air, but it wasn't bad enough for the fluid to leak.

Keep the greasy side down

You said it was easily moved by hand. If there is air
in the lines accounting for the play you'd be compressing
it when you moved the play in/out. Try it and see if the
hydraulic cylinder rod is moving in/out with the play, then
I'd say it could be air. If you can move the bucket but the
rod doesn't move in/out of the cylinder then I'd be looking
elsewhere for the slack.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.
