BX HST Reverse Pressure Port?

I'm looking for something like the above... a port where one might test the pressure for reverse.
I'm thinking that rather than mounting and adjusting and perpetually fixing a 'stick actuated' switch at the pedal for a reverse warning, I could put a pressure switch in a test port if such exists. Low weight, 'self' mounting, no bracket, etc...
Anyone know?

I do not know where the reverse test port or the reverse relief valve is
on your tractor, but the HST probably runs at 3500-4500 psi. If you use
a pressure switch in the high pressure circuit, make sure it is rated for
that high pressure. You need a service manual to find the pressure spec, and
it will also tell you where the test ports are.

I am curious what the BX spec is.....my JD runs at 6000, while my Kioti
is only 4000.

On my BX1830 the reverse port is under the the tractor. If you look at the bottom of the HST you'll see three ports in line (close to the oil filter). On mine the reverse is the one farthest from the oil filter, the closest to the filter is the forward, and the middle is the charge relief valve.

The pressure on the 1830 is rated to run up to about 1950psi. I would be concerned though if you mount something there it could get snagged and either cause a complete loss of fluid, or snapp off and damage the HST housing. Its not a very protected location and is near the mower mounts.
