I just want to thank you guys for the input on the sending unit posts. I went ahead and pulled it back out and put the old cork gasket off the old collar on the new piece. Topped it of yesterday and havn't noticed any more leaks yet. I will say this though, after reading thru some of the problem posts on my model, I'm starting to get a little nervous about my purchase. I bought the tractor off my mother's live in boyfriend about 2 months ago It had 173 hrs on it and I gave 9k for the whole package ( fel/ 60"mmm ) which I think is a good price, I've got 225 hrs on her now and almost everything thats been posted is starting to happen. Tractor creeps while in neutral, was leaking diesel, lh fel cylinder line leak, and I'm just waiting for the rest of these issues to arrise. I havn't done any checking but I think that I'm sol on warranty work as I am the 3rd owner and the tractor is 4 years old. By the way, I tried adjusting neutral spring tension with the tractor on stands in gear to watch for the rear wheels to stop with no luck. I turned the adjuster nut a total of 40 flats, and after no change in the creep, I put it back where I started. If this requires tranny teardown, then I will just have to live with it i guess. Anyway thanks again for the input.
