Went to get my backhoe out of winter storage this evening. When taking the backhoe off, I was told (by the dealer) to connect the two hoses on the backhoe to each other. Today they were hard to get off and now I can't get either of them to attach to the tractor. It appears the system is under pressure but it is sitting on blocks. Any suggestions on how to release the pressure and get it attached? Worst of all, the backhoe is blocking access to my boat! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Use a brass drift punch and a rag.....a couple of whacks with a hammer and it will relieve the pressure on the check valve in the hoses.

Usually by just moving the joystick through all 4 positions will relieve enough pressure to attach the QDs.

Rule #1....never allow anything to block access to your boat! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
