BX Air Ride Seat?

I ran a bad boy mower with a Grammer air ride seat the other day... WOW!!! I want the same seat for my BX2350. Anyone know if it will work? I have tools and a welder, I can make some sort of adapter if needed.

You can make anything work if you put your mind to it. Especially if you're willing to rework it. Make it fit. You probably only have to drill different holes. Is the bottom of that seat flat and is yours flat? Or is there a step between the front and rear bolts?
I would say it would be a lot easier on a BX2350 than a BX25 that rotates.
Buy it, make it work if that is the seat you want. You probably can get better specs. on the Grammar site.

I think I am mistaken about the seat having an air ride suspension. I thought a Bad Boy salesman told me it was. I read on the Grammer website and it says the MSG65 has a mechanical suspension. Link: GRAMMER AG: MSG65 Series

Mechanical or air, it makes little difference to me. The seat was very comfortable and I think would be a great addition to my BX. I use my BX2350 to mow approx. 5 acres (two different yards) and if I am in a hurry I run it as fast as it will go. The factory seat doesn't do much to smooth the ride.

I would think it would make it uncomfortably high. My stock BX25 seat feels high without any suspension stuff under it.

The BX25 seat you would have to keep the factory base mechanism making that seat way too high as dsmiley says, But the BX2350 you would remove all of the factory seat spring base which will take up some or most of the extra height of the replacement seat.

Back in Feb. I was quoted $720. I just returned from the dealer. The BX25D seat appears to be about 1 1/4" higher than the stock BX25 seat (putting you farther from the steering wheel), is heavier to turn, and doesn't clear the ROPS as nicely when you spin it. You have to fiddle with it. However, it is much more comfortable to sit in. I have the parts list for both and there are a couple other parts that would need to be replaced. The dealer said they are going to make this swap for another customer and figured it would be about $1k. Apologies to walk450 for going off topic.

Before I spent that for a seat up grade I would sell my BX25 and buy a New 25D-1with the seat included. Your tractor is worth 17k new one 21K
If not a new tractor
You should try to fit a Grammer seat if you want to go for comfort. To make sure you have the most comfortable seat. Would be a shame if after you bought the Kubota seat and in a month your back where you are now.
The specs on the Grammer site are pretty clear of what you're getting. You just have to look at your tractor and see if there is any way possible you can make it lower.
That Grammer seat looks pretty short, it may not be that much difference.
The ability to turn the seat around is really messing you up on what your options are. Where as walker450 has a much easier exchange.
