BX 2360 engine cover.

BX 2360 , about 12 or 13 years old. The engine cover ( plastic shroud) has become brittle and started to crack. Anybody else had similar and did you fix cracks or get a new shroud. I can only imagine the cost.

I have a BX25 same age. The plastic is very brittle. In fact, I ordered the new shroud, it was in the box for the better part of a year since I got it, and guess what? The shroud was cracked coming out of the box! I'll likely epoxy it in the spring. Not too concerned that it will get worse. I think it was $450 CDN. maybe only $250 in the states? just a guess.

I owned a BX2350 in the past and I fixed mine several times and finally got a new one.

I wound up just ordering a new one from Russo Power Equipment. $320 all in. All shiny and new. Thanks for the replies
