BX 2200 Question

There is a white plastic fan looking thing thing under the deck and toward the rear of my BX 2200. I have no idea what it is. Can any of you help? Also, a couple of the blades on it are broken off? Is that something I need to have repaired?

It is your hydro tranny cooling fan, and yes you need it in good working order to avoid more costly transmission repairs on down the road.

Check out this post for solution. I had the same thing happen to mine, new fan was about $4.00 and put it on myself, then made plate to cover that area when the deck is removed. hope the link worksw
