BX 1500 possible purchase

I would say that is more than a bit pricey. I bought mine new in 2005, with the same equipment, for 10k. I hear that prices are somewhat higher in NE, but $8,600 for an 8-yr old outfit, even with just 280 hrs, seems rather steep to me.

Around here, I would guess that tractor would sell for 5 - 6k.

That price will fetch you a BX1860 in similar shape.

I would say for an even 10k you could find an '05 BX2230 with lower hours, loader, mmm and probably even a tiller.

I agree, they are asking to much. They might come down on the price though.

New Bx1860, 4 ft box blade, MMM, loader and 3 pt hitch disk for 15,500 delivered and 0% for 60 months. That sounds a lot better.

I know it's not possible to buy one new. What I meant was, how much for a new equivilent setup?

I just got home from checking out the BX 1500 and decided to pass on it, mainly because I stopped in at two dealerships and discovered how easy it could be to own a new one. :D Which I really think I'm going to do. :cool2:

You can't do that to us...this is a hot topic, we were just getting started. Ha!

Enjoy your new tractor!

It's my first-ever Kubota, even though I've always wanted one. The past eight years I've done all my mowing and related stuff with a 1955 Farmall Cub. I'm thinking I'm in for culture shock.
