Put a deposit down for a new BX2380V yesterday. I use my tractor to mostly plow snow in the winter on a 300' long mixed gravel and asphalt driveway. In the summer, I use the tractor to spread and groom gravel. I'm at the point where I hire a crew to mow, I just don't have the time. When I first bought my property I owned a Kubota B7800 and then, with construction complete, downsized to a John Deere X744, which has served me well for over 10 years, but I got a solid private party offer and thought it was time to upgrade to a SCUT.
I've got 3 Kubota dealers in my area, 1 of them didn't respond to my quote request, 1 responded but does not have the unit in stock and is saying 3 to 6 weeks for delivery and the last responded with a unit in stock but the attachments out of stock, saying 6 to 10 days to receive attachments.
On the tractor w/ std loader valve and R4 tires (no deck), with an MSRP of $12,775 (based on kubota.com), offered price after discount was $12,000. That's about 6% off. I then qualified for a $800 Kubota rebate, which lowered the tractor price to $11,200. That's about 12% off. For the attachments, I was charged list price. Not that I have much choice, but does this pricing seem reasonable?
Here is the complete invoice:
BX2380V Tractor $12000
BX2810 Front Quick Hitch $700
BX2812 Front Blade $1400
BX2825 Skid Shoes $142
LED ROPS lights, F&R $150
4' Box Blade (Used) $300
Total $13,892 plus tax & fees
Any "must-have" accessories I should consider?
Thanks
