I have a Kubota BX23tlb and a Bobcat CT235. The small Kubota tractor is good for light maintenance, some cosntruction and for digging french drains. It's somewhat useful in clearing trees and brush, but a little underpowered. The CT122 should work for light maintenance, but most guys will usually want to go bigger after a while. That's why I bought the CT235. Good Luck

I looked at the 122 when I was looking for a tractor this past summer. It was really the size I wanted to maintain my 4 acres but the two things I did not like was it only had a L/H range and the lift on the FEL was not real great. I ended up going with a 230 and I am very happy with it. The 2xx models have L/M/H range which works well for my mowing. I still wish I had a little more on the FEL but I am still very happy with it. A 3xx would have been too big for my yard.

One thing to note is the 230 is very heavy, good for doing work but I am not sure how it will be for my mowing this spring. My yard drains pretty fast but at 3k lbs, I may sink to my axles!

Well ended up getting a ct235 not ct335 from rental.USed it for 6 hours last two days moving snow.Things I like but the backhoe with subframe sucks.Sticks out too far.It doesnt even have the power to lift itself off the ground.Definately not one id be happy owning.

What hoe were you using? Was it the Bobcat/Rhino? Was it a 7' or 8' foot?
