I currently own a 2004 Husqvarna with a 25 hp Kohler, which is worn out. I do not prefer a Kohler would like to try a Kawasaki or Briggs and Stratton.

Lot of mowers to choose from but not sure what is your question or concern? I like the Deere x700 series but there are a lot of others to choose from that are good too.

Is it the engine, or the complete mower that's worn out? In many cases you can put a number of different engines on the same mower, so you could get a Kawasaki, or B&S for that mower, and save a bunch of money. If the mower is pretty beat it's probably not worth it, but figured it was worth considering.

I've seen some videos on YouTube about repowering with Honda motors. Any possibility for that ?
