Sounds like a good price . I just purchased a new one as well ( gc1705 )in the early summer . I paid $14000 , tractor ,loader , rear tires filled and 60" MMM deck . The 60" deck is about $2500 . Your 48 bush hog probably $ 1500 . I am enjoying mine . The only negative and its not a big deal is the loader function is a little far away for older age comfort . A little farther to reach vs. like a JD 1025r is a little more comfortable .
All that being said I feel the GC series is a whole lot of tractor and good engine for the MONEY !!! Enjoy !!! I am new here .. GOD always FIRST !!
