I've got an SQ600 Bushhog, that I pull behind a 47 hp tractor.
Is the front of the bushhog or the rear, near the support wheel supposed to be higher?
I think the owners manual seems to indicate the the front be lower, but I'm not sure (or is the darn thing supposed to be level, in which case I'll have to adjust the positioning of the wheel height)

any advice?

thanks,

anthony

Commonly accepted practice to have the REAR set about 1" to 2" higher than front so that your blades don't end up having to cut everything two times.

thanks, that's about what I've got now.
The height I cut at drops the 3 point hitch side a few inches lower than the rear wheel.
What you said about cutting twice seems to make sense too.
thanks,

anthony
