Bush Hog model 1444 disc harrows

Just bought a set of these discs. Seems that 2 of the hangers are twisted - identical. Same location on the fron gang. Is this supposed to be this way? Also, how do you hold backup to tighten the gang assembly? With a pipe wrench?
