Hi,
I'm new to tractors and I've just bought a mitsubishi d2020 with a brush hog. I've noticed that on the gentle slope of my back field, the cutter deck swings and clips the rear tyres when I turn around. Is there anyway to stiffen the connection so it does sway so much?

As above.. also pay attention to the top link length. This will adjust the "attitude" of the bush hog. The Hog should be a little higher in the back than in the front. This is controlled by the top link length. If the top link is extremely long it can push the hog down in the back and up in the front, and But as stated above if your hog is swinging when you make turns and hitting the tires, then tighten the sway chains/bars on the lower links and adjust them for centering the implement. Check for side to side leveling by adjusting your right hand lift link. Make sure that the right and left sides of the hog are equal height.

What I do when attaching my hog is drive to a known level spot of ground (I only have one on my place:)) and level and adjust everything before I take off to go kill some vegetation.

On my tractor and with my mower JD LX-6 this adjustment is all in the top link.

Thanks everyone, I do have stabilisers, I'll work on them and make sure they are tight.
