ok anyone happen to know where I can get a rubber element joint for my 2510 without paying out a arm and leg for it ?
the part is 868.00 plus the u-joint will make over 900.00.

maybe a way to replace them with a friction clutch or something that will work as a replacement that wont cost a ton or should just bite the bullet and buy it.
I replaced the other one last year.

I have a John Deere 660 rototiller. I broke the slip clutch and John Deere wanted just a bit too much for replacement parts. I went to local farm supply store and they were able to supply me with a replacement slip clutch at about half the price of the Deere one. I took the old clutch in and they measured it to determine which replacement size to order. I can't remove the PTO shaft from the rototiller the way I could with the Deere slip clutch but I don't really need to remove the PTO shaft from the rototiller on a regular basis so all is good.
