Burning Barrel Death

Burn barrels or any burning of anything other than leaves will be illegal in our county after 01-01-2012 ,,,thanks to the EPA....Just imagine, all we can burn is leaves, so there will be tree branches and downed trees piled everywhere in the woods and on folks property...Too expensive to have hauled away.

Ouch, I burn limbs and yard rubbish with pine needles about every two weeks?

My uncle tossed a gasline antifreeze container that he thought was empty into a fire during a cleanup on a remote northern island. Exploded and resulted in burns all over him. Being an alcohol fire during the day, the other workers couldn't see what was wrong.

He was taken by boat, to be flown to hospital, I think it was 8 or 10 hours trip? Many months and skin grafts.

We used to be able to do burn at will as well. I am still going to burn ..I will get their permit each time..but I will burn my limbs and yard debris...I will also have hot dogs and a grill cover next tot he burn barrel...I dare them to fine me since a fire to cook food is allowed...I will play the silly game...
