Little Help?

Ok So, Jinma 254LE main tractor pump/gear type. So I started her up on boxing day and let the tractor warm up. However I put her on high idle fairly soon (cold oil). When I came to move the tractor 1/2 hour later there were no hydraulics nothing. The pump was hot to the touch, starved for oil? So I took it apart it all looks ok?

You have a classic case of water in the oil. Ice is blocking the flow of hydraulic fluid to the pump. You should mic the clearances to determine the wear. That 1/2 hour with no lubrication is like 1000 to 5000 hours of normal operation.

Post the specs from the book, then the observed clearances.

Also.. find your blockage.. sometimes QD's get cocked apart and won't pass oil.. Jinma tractors have a bad habit of placing QD's in line with pumps... Kinda of a 'designed to fail' sort of situation... Like putting you in the center of a 3ac mine field with only one safe path out.. oh yeah.. and you are blindfolded!

Can you separate the side plates from the gears and send pictures of the sides (ends) of the gears and the inside surface of the side plates? I suspect the most scoring occurred where the sides of the gears rub on the side plates. I also suspect the plain bearings in each side plate for the end of each shaft scored. If the side plates are stuck on the gear shafts, that is a pretty good sign that the bearings are scored. I am surprised that the pump did not seize and shear the key in the input shaft.

You can't troubleshoot the internals of a pump with pics over the internet. Heck, without micrometers, I can't do it with the pump in my hand.
