Upgrade to 1 inch spindles. The stock ones are do really designed for that type of stress.

I also purchased the plans form P.F. Engineering and they indicated to me that you need at least a 1" axle for the FEL. Bring them up on line, see all the FEL & Backhoes. Get their number and give them a call. They were very helpful in answering any questioned I had. Good Luck
