I spoke with Peter last night so I have an unofficial update. The reason for his silence is that there is really nothing new to post. The gates for the front entrance finally arrived and are very nice and quite substantial. He is waiting on the rock guy to come back and apply the stone work to the pillars before installing the gates.
All of the posts for the deer fence are in but he will not be installing the actual fence material until the gates are installed and operational so as to not trap the deer within the fenced in area. His mother is quite anxious to get it all done because she has to walk the dogs a few times per day.
As such, I would expect that the whole thing will be complete in about a week or so.

Well Jay, as a loyal reader, just because Peter doesn't have anything new to post is no excuse. I need a fix! He could at least make up something.
I have really enjoyed following this build. I thank Peter for taking all the time to share with us. I will miss his build as it is coming to an end.
