Bucks still in full armor

I went hunting yesterday (we have extended season for antlerless deer till the 26th of March) and saw 2 pointer, 4 pointer, 2 pointer .... when I finally thought there is a doe coming - it was a six pointer

Quite enjoyable evening, some came to a bow distance, but no kills.

I say all the fun without the work, but I was surprised to see all those antlers still up. How is deer in your area? Bucks shedded already?

Last Sunday evening I was headed back from my neighbors on my tractor. I have to drive to our fence and make a jog up towards my food plot.

As I approached the plot, I noticed a large deer standing in my oats, then I saw the antler!! Darn, nicest buck I have seen in person all year, he still had both sides on top.

Ours should start dropping, usually a few by now.

I did hear a Gobbler this morning, so if I can find a place to hunt, or get lucky and pull one across the canyon, that will be fun.
