Bucket size for loader

So with the recommendations on this and other sites I tried the 244J and really like it even though I need to get a bigger truck to pull it. It seam that they are scarce on the west coast though and not much to choose from unless I wait a couple of months and order one. I have found a new one with only 67 hours on it. Not many hours and full warranty but still don't know how they call it new. The only problem is the bucket is a 1.4 yard 86" as opposed to the 1 yard 75". Although it would be nice at times to have a larger bucket it would seem to me this is a little to large for average work. Mostly worried about the width for digging into hard soil etc. My other thought would be to get a 1 yard multipurpose bucket and this would probably be about 84" wide also and an additional 500 pounds. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Well, I hate to spend your money ( ) but why not the smaller bucket with teeth, the larger bucket for clean up or snow removal, a set of forks and a quick attach system?

Hi crashz, I ordered the 244J and it arrived today. It does have a quick attach system, forks and the 1.4 yard bucket also ordered the skidsteer quick attach adapter. I am looking at heavy duty multipurpose 4in1 buckets now, think I will get a 1 yard with teeth. Thanks for spending my money.

They read my mind, get one smaller with teeth. Ive noticed how easy it is to spend money.

Actually I purchased a Rezloh cutting edge for my 1.4 yard bucket, not really happy with it though, will probably reinstall the original cutting edge. I will probably purchase a smaller multipurpose bucket with teeth in the future.
