Loader Bucket Cylinder Guard

Anyone ever add a grill guard like frame to protect the loader bucket cylinders from logs and other large gunk from damaging the curl cylinders? If so how did it work? You see these frames on mulchers and specialty buckets.

I have a B21 that I been using to clear land, some of the trees felled are good size and dragging them to and stacking them on the pile more often than not causes them to slip and move around.

Ok, no takers. Its good to be first I guess. Here's what I built.
I ran out of 'bota paint, have to get some more next time I'm at the dealer.

That's a pretty good idea. I see them on dozers sometimes.

I have a 4in1 bucket and do the same thing in theory...I open it up wide and the top portion helps to push and adds that extra protection, too.

That was one of the first things that we did to my little Case 310. Really works great when brushing. :thumbsup:

Thanks, I finished a refurb on it last year and yes that is a 6 way blade.

Adding a guard to the FEL was the first mod I made to the tractor. Really comes in handy for moving stuff. Add a pair of clamp on forks and I can move an entire brush pile to the chipper.
