buck starter removal

I have a s-470D buck and I have a dead starter, are there any suprises in removal of the starter that I should know? Any help would be welcome.

first disconnect the battery.mark the wires to the starter.take a picture to keep for reference.undo the wires to the starter.unbolt the starter. service or rebuild the starter. re install.
