i have the 26" del morino brush mower and just the other day while i was mowing i noticed oil leaking out on the deck. I quickly turned it off to give it a look but cant really see where from the gear box its leaking from. I also cant figure out how remove the gear box from the frame, it seems like this is an implement that isnt very user friendly. The leaking will stop when it cools down but if i were to start mowing for about ten minutes all of a sudden oil will dump out from the gear box again.

Are you sure the gearbox isn't overfull? Oil expands when it warms up. I had oil coming out of the breather on the Caravaggi stump grinder when I first got it. It stopped doing so when the oil level got to where it is supposed to be. I'm not very familiar with the Del Morino, but I'd guess there's a breather on there somewhere.

I don't think the drain/fill plug on those Del Morinos is vented (at least none of the ones I have had are). I wonder did you check to make sure this plug is tight? In doing so like farmerboybill mentioned, make sure you are not overfull on oil. half full is good. Whatever you use to check oil level, make sure it gets to the bottom of the gear box to give accurate measurement.
