I broke the lens out of the turn light on my bx23. Dealer won't sell just the lens. You gotta buy a whole new light at $17 each. That's nonsense. I went to my local truck parts dealer and bought a generic light that looks exactly like the Kubota light for $5. I can buy lenses for the new light for $1.50 each. I sugest changing out the Kubota lights like I did.

Kept happening over and over. I never drive the BX down the road, so I just have the light bulbs dangling. I figure why replace them if I never use them.

When I owned by BX2200 I broke the dang lights multiple times!!! I gave up replacing them as I do not do any road travel. I replaced them before I sold it and purchased them from TSC as they carry them in stock and are like 5 bucks. I have lost the lenses off my B7510 but these I can not find at TSC! I guess I will just live without the lense as they stick out too far and get knocked off when I am in the woods doing work! I have come to a realization that tractors and rear lights do not go together too well!!!!

My mom went out bush-hogging on my Deere 4500 a few years ago and successfully broke 3 out of 4 of the turn signal lenses. Luckily they were replaceable, unfortunately they were $25 for rear lenses, $13 for fronts. She found a suet cake feeder fit over them just right and provides SOME protection. I don't recall which one but one tractor manufacturer had break-away turn signals/tail lights I saw at a farm show for their compact/utility tractors.

Good Luck!!!

Thanks Ron. Do you know of that $1.50 lens will actually fit on the original Kubota turn light?

No, it will not fit the original light.

Last year on my first mowing a branch tore one turn signal apart. Later when I found the lens piece, I was able to snap it back together. I just took nylon ties and tied them around the signal lights. they have been scuffed many times since but they're still there.

I could fabricate something light weight in steel or aluminum that should protect the light against branches and some other lite hits I was thinking of building them for myself as i have lost the same lite to branches and would like to keep my tractor looking nice. if any of you guys are interested let me know

I've tagged several trees with the signal lights on my '08 BX2350. Each time the assembly has bent back and blown apart leaving the lenses from both sides laying on the ground. So far, nothing has actually broken. The lenses snap right back in and you're on your way.

Once I didn't immediately notice it had happened and had to backtrack through the woods until I found the lens. Also, I guess I've been lucky in that the lenses have never gone under the mower after falling off.

I know this doesn't help the OP but, after the third incident I've decided that those signals were specifically engineered to take a hit and fall apart without breaking. I find it interesting that it isn't working that way for others. Maybe it's a different design.

I'm tempted to do the same thing with my BX24 turn signals and reflector triangle that I do with the 1/2" socket whenever I get a new tool set. I just throw it into the bushes, since I'm going to lose it in the first few days anyway :)

I've lost count of the times the turn sigs have popped apart on tree branches and brush.

I lost a turn signal lens and couldn't find a replacement lens. Found a set of trailer magnetic lights at HarborFreight P/N 96933. Set has two red and two amber lenses and they fit the Kubota BX2230 perfect. Lucky for me the $29.95 set was on sale with a magazine coupon for $9.95....New guy...Bern:)

I did the same as Bandon, just put tie-wraps around them and I haven't lost a lens since. Also, watch out for side bruch.
