Broken propeller shaft on Kubota BX23

I've seen many posts here regarding replacing the propeller attached to the drive shaft, but none on replacing a broken propeller shaft. Mine broke inside the HST and I would like to know how difficult it would be to repair.

You will have to remove the HST, break it down and replace the shaft.
If your not mechanically inclined I would get profession help.
Will take more than a few hours to replace.

Thanks davesl708. I'm mechanically inclined, I just have not seen a post that details the breakdown in particular. No offense oldpilgrim, I'll cut you a break since you're an Army Vet and all. I'm active duty in the Army. Jus twould like to know the level of complexity that is involved in taking the HST apart.

The parts manual is a good source of a diagram. You can get it at Kubota's website.

The Workshop manual (dealer only source) under $100 also has a lot of good info in, especially in getting to stuff and sequence of removals of stuff in the way. Indispensable if doing any repairs.
