Broke 40

Well, I did it. I went to 40 degrees sideways on the PT today... I was working sideways on a slope at around 30 degrees and the slope gave way... I slid for a bit, of course coming to rest exactly between two trees. I have to tell you 40 degrees is a MISERABLE hill to climb up. Got the chain saw, cut a tree down and off I went, now with a bit more confidence than before.

The sliding was due to wet soil, grass and I have the tires up at around 12lbs as I am doing some grunt work...

At no point did I ever feel that I was going to tip over... It is just that the seat adjusts you upright, so I was staring at the up hill roll bar, noticing it needed some paint as I held on and wondering why my steering wheel was so far down... ...

I bet that felt pretty good. It's nice when you can tell that your heart still works.

40 degrees is very uncomfortable to walk up. People don't realize how steep that is... almost a foot up for a foot forward. That ain't a tractor, it's a mountain goat!

C'mon Moss, there's no way a PT would be viewed as a yacht...
