Received our 2" wheel spacers from Bro-Tek a few days ago and finished installing them on our B2920 Kubota this morning. As others have said, Richard at Bro-Tek was very easy to deal with and shipping was fast.
I had a few of concerns before ordering the wheel spacers.
Concern 1 was the studs would be threaded into the aluminum wheel spacer. I have had bad experiences with threads pulling out of aluminum. The wheel studs are not threaded into the aluminum spacer. They are pressed in from the back with spines to prevent turning and large heads which prevent the studs from pulling through.
The other concern was the inside and outside diameter of the wheel spacers would not be consistent with the factory dimensions of the wheel hole ID and the wheel flange OD. The wheels appear to be hub-centric, so I wanted the dimensions to be the same as factory. I measured the ID and OD of the Bro-Tek spacers before installing them and the dimensions were very close to factory. I would say all the dimensions were within a couple of thousandths. So, no problem there, the spacers are made to be hub-centric with the factory hubs and wheels.
The last concern is how much addition stress the spacers will put on the axles/bearings/axle housing/etc. Well it is what it is and only time will tell. I haven't read any posts where 2" spacers have cause any failures in these areas and some folk run even wider spacers; so we shall see.
Stability - that is the reason I bought them. I mainly use this tractor on some very rugged mountain land we have. I haven't tested the tractor with the new spacers up there yet, but I did take it around to some very off-camber spots in our yard. Seat of the pants verdict is they greatly improved perceived side to side stability. The off-cambers that were very uncomfortable before felt completely different with the spacers. So far, I'm very happy with the Bro-Tek spacers, only whished I had bought them sooner.
