I have looked everywhere, but can't seem to locate any reference to the size of the rubber o-rings that are inside the quick couplings on the Branson BL10 front-end loader. I think there might be a replacement kit that contains the o-ring and a flat teflon backup ring, but I'm not even positive about that. It would be helpful if I just knew what type and size of quick connector Branson uses. Leakage around these connections has been an ongoing problem for years. I suspect the replacement o-rings I'm using are not exactly the right size. I know there are metric and standard sizes, too. What I'm using right now is a standard size ring (7/8" O.D. x 11/16" I.D. x 3/32" Dia.) Any helpful information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

HF sells the assortment boxes of o-rings in US and metric for a reasonable price. (cheaper on sale)
I always just match them up as close as possible from my boxes.
Sometimes I find I need one not in the box but they have saved me lots of trips looking for them.

Stimw, thanks for replying. I have a box of o-rings I was using from, that were sold for use in AC systems (purchased at AutoZone). They were problematic (tendency to slow leak at the slightest provocation). Then I went to Menard's and bought more O-rings off the shelf and tried them (probably sold for plumbing applications). They were just as problematic. Today I went to a local company that sells replacement hydraulic hoses and fittings. I was looking for a metric O-ring that I found in an online catalog, that was just a few hundredths of an inch thicker than the ones I was using, thinking that maybe I was actually using the wrong size. What they told me was, the O-rings I had been using were likely, a "70 durometer" (rubber hardness), and what I actually needed was a "90 durometer." As far as the rubber compound type, the best that I have come up with is that, for high pressure petroleum-based hydraulic oil environments, Buna-N Nitrile rubber is recommended. Now, all I have to find out is the correct O-ring size.
