Same here, I also found quite a bit of metal shavings in the hydraulic suction screen.

Is the Branson manual different from the Century manual? The Century manual is very detailed with lots of pictures (hand drawn) showing all the maintanence items and explaining them in simple terms of how to do them. It made the 50 hours service quite easy.

The Branson manuel I give out at the purchase of a machine is quite extensive.
It shows parts explosions, part #'s, service intervals, on and on, and on.

Sage Uncle Virgil uses john deere 303 fluid.....what are the rest of you using out there? Is there a good Tractor Supply Co or other equivilent you can recommend?

I used NAPA PREMIUM Universal Tractor Fluid.

It meet the John Deere J20C and D requirements and as a replacement for several others brands.

Napa was close to me, a pretty good price on the 5 gallon bucket and convienent. I hope it is good. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
