Yes. There should be about 1" of freeplay in the pedal. I bet you have no freeplay. Adjust it and see what you have. Hopefully the clutch is still ok.

Could be the clutch, but have you tried any of the other 11 higher gears? JUST KIDDING 
(assuming you have 12 speeds) We really need some more information. Are all of the other gears including reverse causing the tractor to move at the same speed? If you put it in the highest of ranges (at the lowest gear) does the tractor move or will it just sit there and slip (engine turning and tractor not going anywhere (with burning brakes smell)) will it not spin the tires if you bite into a load with the bucket, or will the tires bite and keep spinning? Let us know, thanks.

Tires don't speed when accelerating.
Had independent mechanic check it out and he believes the clutch is burned out.
Will be taking it to the dealership tomorrow to have it checked out.
