I'm not completely sure, but I know some models have a switch to automatically turn off the PTO when the 3pt is at full height.

Might look into if yours has that.

The PDF you sent looks very much like my model. I don't see the limit switch and still am unsure what it does and, therefore, whether it could have anything to do with my problem.

The limit switch is for the PTO when used in Auto mode. It turns it Off when you raise the arms and turns back On as it lowers.
