Brake problems john deere 2020

hey guys. I have a John Deere 2020 from 1970 and I have a problem that I can't solve, the brakes are very hard, I have to apply a lot of force to brake and suddenly when I apply force they brake suddenly. In other words, they do not brake progressively. I've already cleaned the brake pedal block, the pipes and I don't know what else to do. Has anyone had a similar problem?

May be in the brake valve assembly, as shown here in JD parts. Is this the "block" you cleaned? Were the 0-rings good?

Yes, it was this block that I cleaned, and all the seals seemed fine. And if they weren't, I probably wouldn't even be able to bleed the brakes. but I bled the brakes until all the air came out, but they are still quite stiff

I would be tempted to try some friction modifiers in this situation. John Deere even has a product for this purpose.
