Living on the side of a mountain I often find myself stopping on a grade requiring using the pedal lock.
Always feels like it positively locks and never had a problem.
It does make you think though if you are working around it. Has the HST so I cant leave it in gear but shut off there is always resistance keeping it from free-wheeling.

Have any of you ever had a issue with yours?

Been using mine every day for over 3 years never had a problem. 25 years with the last tractor.
Kioti Modes 003.jpg
For ease of use I made this mod no bending over which is not convenient for something used dozens of times a day.

Tractors and hills make me nervous to, so when on a bank I always set FEL down fully on ground, plus I also have a pto winch, I always set that down but thats only good to stop rolling backwards which is very important, and then if I'm not climbing right back on I also set the brakes. So between FEL, brakes and pto winch my tractor is staying put while running, then if I shut the tractor off in gear that makes 4 things holding.

You'll never be sorry for being care full Oldpath05 . One other thing I do is turn the steering wheel so if it does roll it will come up against the nearest tree. If I have some thing I wish to do on the down hill side of the tractor I'll stick a rock in front of the wheel.

My 2011 Bobcat CT235 began releasing its parking brake from the vibration of idling to warm up this winter. I adjusted the linkage and it still released. I've adjusted it one more time and it seems to have ceased. I would assure to pay close attention to the brake lock adjustment procedure.
