The yellow link that holds the brake pedals together just popped off of my tractor. I have kept them linked for as long as I have owned the tractor, so I am surprised that this happened.

I looked on Messick's site to see if there was a retainer of some type to hold it on the peg that it was attached to, but I couldn't see anything there.

Anybody else deal with this? Do you have a solution?

If I remember correctly from the B7000 I had, they simply put the link in, then a washer and spot weld the washer to the pivot pin.

Considering the parts catalog showing an entire assembly, I imagine this will be the case for your model as well.

Just looked at mine, like a welded pin like the other fellow said. I would remove the rubber pad and put a hole and attach with a bolt and nilock nut. Put rubber pad back on
