Brake Light!?

Nice job! Were did you get the switch? Is it spring loaded in the off position? Wire a flasher in the circuit and have it blink to catch you eye. I will be making one myself before i need brakes.

I got the switch at a local electronics store. Yes, it is a momentary switch, it will return to off on its own. The blink circuit is a good idea....but the bulb is nice and bright, it's hard to miss. That's also why I put it next to the throttle, so when I hop back on and look down It will catch my eye. I'm happy to report that it works well, haven't driven with the brake engaged since I did the mod!
