This is probably more than needed but I use 500 lb capacity casters bolted through 2x6s at the corners with 3/8 x 4" carriage bolts.

They roll easy on rough concrete & don't develop flat spots over winter.

I was just over to Homer's Depot and saw casters rated at 255lbs for just under $13. Seems like that would handle most box scrapers. Of course $5 more and you get twice the capacity with the Northern wheels.

Furniture dolly, why didnt I think of that. Thats what I like about this site, put it out there and somebody has the answer.

I looked at that backhoe dolly and noticed it looks a lot like the thing I have my tablesaw on. And I have others that are similar...but smaller for other woodworking tools.

Exactly, I have a 10" table saw that weighs a ton, and I use that contraption on my jointer, planer, and drum sander. They slide easily around the shop. I even put my lumber on a rolling platform. If that thing ever breaks, I am dead.

The grizzly tent sale is tomorrow at 0800 in Muncy PA. I bought a 300 pound cart from them for $5 which my 55 gal drum sits on. I also buy their mobile bases from their store demos for about 1/4 of the regular cost. I can't build that stuff that cheap.

I've got a grizzly 14 in bandsaw and a 6 in jointer. I'd love to be close to that tent sale

Best casters I've found, so far, are from HF... current sale a few days ago for 5 inch casters, 330lb each is about $3.50 to 4.00, depending on swivel or rigid.
